IT’S NOW OR NEVER!!!
I miss my abs but I am confident that in no time I’ll have it back! BEEN THERE DONE THAT! I CAN DO IT AGAIN!!! #project160
PROJECT 160! The truth, I am at 200 lbs. as of today. After months of review and a month of exam but this is not to justify my gain because I had chosen it that way. Last October 2011 I made it to 158 lbs., with just running, cross-training and working-out 360 Fitness Club, this was my lightest ever since I became conscious of my weight. I even made it to Men’s Health Philippines BELLY-OFF CLUB last December 2011! I DID IT BEFORE AND THERE ARE COUNTLESS REASONS THAT I CAN DO IT AGAIN, THE NATURAL WAY. From this day forward I WILL WORK ON MY PROJECT 160 by hook or by crook!
SOON! I’ll start blogging about the PHILIPPINES! Whenever I watch the news or read something about my country, either good or bad I cannot control my thoughts. I always would want to share it to everyone to inform, educate, empower or just to share what is on my mind.

I was on a quest for a sport or any activity that will help me lose weight. I have always been a fat kid since I was child. Back then it was so cute, where everyone was so happy to see me that way but as I grew it was becoming more of risk to my health and concern of my family. I went up to my heaviest at 260 lbs and there were times whenever I tipped the scale it points to zero “0”, I was using a mechanical type then. I tried almost all the diets out there or whatever you can find on the internet but the results that I wanted to and I was longing to was always far from reality.
Along came running, on November 08, 2009 I had a taste of my first run. Then, from that moment on I realized that running was the one for me. I became more serious and curious. When I started I could not even complete a full 3k run, I was always injured but I endured it all, from a mere 3k to 5k then I aimed for 10k pushed my limits to 21k and defied more when I did a 42k last March 18, 2012. A total of 28 runs and I am just getting started and still go on to do more HALF and FULL MARATHONS. Then aim for ULTRA MARATHONS and eventually a TRIATHLON, relay or individual event.
As I was on my journey with running, I was able to fulfill some of my dreams. One of it was when I was featured on the December 2011 issue of Men’s Health Philippines. I have been a reader of Men’s Health Philippines and since Day 1, I challenged myself and imagined that I will be featured on the magazine and be part of the BELLY OFF CLUB. It was part of my motivation and it paid off. I have become more healthy and I am now physically fit, from my XXL days now I fit into XS or S and from a 42’ on my waist I am now at 31’. I am now maintaining my weight at 160lbs-170lbs.
It is never too late for a change, I am glad that I was able to make it all by myself. I hope you can make it too. It all comes down to yourself at the end of the day. Challenge yourself and step up to it.
More Mileage!
